The Kalihi Y's Men's & Women's Club is part of an international
movement with the purpose of providing leadership and services
to the YMCA and the community. The club meets on the second Wednesday
each month at 7:30 p.m. and schedules social events, work projects
and fund raising events throughout the year.

Annual
Endowment Golf Tournament - More
Information
Each year for the past fifteen years, the Board of Managers' Endowment
Committee has put on a golf tournament. All proceeds from
the tournament go into our Endowment Fund. Interest from
the Fund is used to provide scholarships for children and teens
that take part in Kalihi YMCA programs. These scholarships
are available to families who can not afford the normal cost of
the program.

MARTIAL ARTS
The goal
of the Martial Arts training is to develop the coordination of
mind and body in daily life. Through this discipline you can experience
a more peaceful existence and exert a positive presence in the
universe. The objective to achieve this goal is to develop strong,
healthy bodies, responsible character, respect for others, self-confidence,
and to apply the principles of non-dissention in daily life. The
objectives are achieved through the practice of KI development
exercises, KI breathing, self-discipline and accountability for
performance in daily life both in and outside the dojo.
Judo
Time: Tuesdays/Thursdays, 6:00-8:30 p.m.

Huli-Huli
Chicken Sale
Each
Year The Board raises Funds by holding a Huli-Huli Chicken
Sale. The Money raised by this sale are specifically used for
Board Sponsored Activities. This Includes sending Board members
to the annual Key Leaders conference, paying for Board members
to attend National Assemblies . In the Past the Board Allocated
some of the funds toward scholarship for summer program participants.
